Visual Journaling Workshop

This course provides a foundation of processes intended to become the tools for a lifetime of creative expression. Students are encouraged to draw from all kinds of resources of creativity such as dreams, childhood memories, sense perceptions, intuition and direct observation. Working both individually and collaboratively, students explore their imaginative potential through exercises in writing, drawing, collage, map making, storytelling and creating personal image cards. A critique process is taught that focuses on process not content in order to maintain the confidentiality needed for such inner work as well as to provide students with the tools for continued independent work.
